Middle World Farms CIC
All volunteers agree to uphold the values, safety standards, and ecological principles of Middle World Farms.
Note: Volunteers must also follow our General Code of Conduct, which applies to all staff, visitors, and participants at Middle World Farms. This Volunteer Code of Conduct contains additional guidelines specific to volunteering activities.
Conduct
Volunteers will:
- Act respectfully toward others
- Follow farm guidance
- Care for tools, crops, and infrastructure
- Support a positive working environment
Drugs & Alcohol
We operate a strict zero-tolerance drug policy.
Volunteers must not:
- Bring drugs onto the farm
- Attend under the influence
Breach will result in immediate removal.
Safeguarding
Volunteers agree to:
- Help maintain a safe environment
- Report hazards
- Respect personal wellbeing
Overnight Stays
- Stays must be pre-agreed
- Visits are short-term and structured
Health & Safety
Volunteers must:
- Follow tool safety guidance
- Wear appropriate clothing
- Report injuries immediately
